PRO4A receives Rifles and other Operational Equipment

Camp Vicente Lim –A total of 100 M16 and 1 M14 (Sniper) Rifles from the National Headquarters were received today by the Regional Director PCSUPT Ma. O Ranada Aplasca during the ceremonial awarding spearheaded by the Director, Highway Patrol Group PCSUPT Arnel B Escobal as he graced today’s Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Distinguished Visitors Program.

The rifles will be distributed to the following units: (RPSB4A-20 M16 and 1 M14; Batangas PPSC-20 M16; Cavite PPSC-9 M16; Laguna PPSC-14 M16; Quezon PPSC-30 M16; and Rizal PPSC-7 M16).

In addition, the Practical Shooters and Match Officers Confederation (PSMOC) donated fifteen (15) reloading machines that will also be given to city police stations of the region namely: Batangas, Lipa, Tanauan, Cavite, Tagaytay, Trece Martirez, Calamba, San Pablo, Santa Rosa, Lucena, Antipolo, Dasmariñas, Bacoor, Imus and Cabuyao City.

Further, the Public Safety Savings and Loan Assn. Inc. (PSSLAI) also donated 1 unit laptop and desktop, 1 projector, and roll-up wide screen.

RD Aplasca expresses his gratitude to the Chief PNP, PDG RONALD M DELA ROSA, PSMOC and the PSSLAI for the continuing support to PRO4A. “This firearms will surely boost our shoot capabilities in our Anti-criminality and Illegal Drugs Campaign and Internal Security Operations.” RD Aplasca said.

Meanwhile, as Guest of Honor and Speaker, PCSUPT Escobal told stories on how he endured the challenges throughout his police career. “In facing life challenges, do not lose hope, quitting is not an option. Pursue your dreams and never quit,’ the Director said as he pose challenge to the members of CALABARZON police.

PCSUPT Escobal also led the distribution of awards to the following individuals and units:
