Sariaya, Quezon -- Barangay Councilor League of the Philippines Sariaya Chapter said recently that they are preparing for President Rodrigo Duterte’s request for the benefits of Barangay Officials.

In an interview with Mrs. Susan Caballes, President of the Barangay Kagawad Association in Sariaya, Quezon and current BCLP Provincial Coordinator has determined that their group will present the (10) point agenda to President Duterte primarily herein returning the Scholarship Grant to two children of Barangay Officials , free medical assistance, free legal assistance if Barangay Officials will be charged during his / her duties, security for governmental employment, retirement benefits, security of term, civil service, service entitlement, GSIS membership of Barangay Officials which also reached six years in the service in Barangay, and the firearms for their protection.

Caballes’s group also submitted a resolution to support President Duterte on the promotion of Federalism and the campaign of the Duterte administration against corruption, illegal drugs and criminality.

Meanwhile, Barangay Councilors League of the Philippines is also Barangay Tanod, Treasurer, Secretary, Health workers and Brgy. Justice. Susan Cabilles is currently in contact with her group Dante Jimenez of Volunteers Against Crimes and Corruption (VACC) led by National League President Ricardo Junio ​​and former SBMA Chairman Martin Diño to speak to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
