LUCENA CITY - With the compensation increase now being enjoyed by the police, the public expects a better performance of every policeman.

This was emphasized by National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) chief, PDir. Guillermo Eleazar in his speech delivered in front of more than 400 NCRPO police recruits undergoing their Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at Camp Guillermo Nakar, here, on Wednesday.

Accompanied by his mistah, National Police Training Institute (NPTI) Director Chief Supt. Ramon Rafael and NCRTC Regional Training Director, Supt. Melvin Ricohermoso, and Quezon police director Senior Supt. “Our salary increase courtesy of President Duterte means we should be more efficient and disciplined in the performance of our duties as public servants”, said Eleazar.

He said its only during the present administration that the promised increase of salaries of the police and the military finally became a reality.

The NCRPO chief said the descent compensation that the police are now receiving especially the Police Officers 1 whose monthly pay has been doubled is tantamount to a better and more efficient service and performance as expected by our Commander in chief, and the public.Eleazar said discipline, efficiency and dedication to duty at all times are the leading traits for a policeman to be an effective servant of the public of the people.

“With these traits, there’s no need for the PNP to conduct internal cleansing process which we are now pushing hard in the National Capital Region”, he said.
