Police Colonel Alba identified the suspect as, NAWAF SHARIEF Y AUNAL, male, 31 ylo, born on March 14, 1988 at Kuwait, Married, High School graduate, Jobless, Muslim (Maranao) and presently residing at Balintawak, Quezon City, with Provincial address at Brgy Mipaga, Marawi City
Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the arrest of NAWAF AUNAL a buy bust operation was conducted against target suspect RONIE REBOLADO Y ESTRADA @ RONNIE at Blk 12 Kabisig Floodway. Brgy San Andres, Cainta Rizal at about 12:45 AM of September 18, 2019. Upon custodial investigation, RONIE REBOLADO gave information that he will have an upcoming illegal drug transaction to a certain ALYAS NAWAF at about 5:30PM of this date at Blk 1 along Eastbank road, Brgy San Andres, Cainta Rizal wherein ALYAS NAWAF will hand over to him an undetermined amount of suspected SHABU
In response of the given information PLTCOL ALEX F DELOS SANTOS instructed the operatives of Cainta Municipal Police Station to coordinate with PDEA 4-A and gave an authority to operate. Thereafter, a Buy Bust Operation was conducted at Blk 1 along Eastbank road, Brgy San Andres, Cainta Rizal led by PCPT LEONARDO BILOLO, wherein a Police Officer acted as poseur buyer that resulted to the arrest of the above named suspect at about 5:30 PM of September 18, 2019 and confiscation of Thirteen (13) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as SHABU with estimated weight of 100 grams and has estimated street value of more or less seven hundred thousand pesos (Php 700,000.00), One (1) pc, black leather purse, Three Thousand pesos suspected as DRUG MONEY and Two Thousand pesos used as Buy Bust money
The arrested suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and brought to CAINTA MPS for proper investigation/documentation, subsequently the seized and recovered pieces of evidence together with the suspects will be brought to Rizal Crime Laboratory Office, Taytay, Rizal for appropriate laboratory examinations.
