PROVINCE OF CAVITE – The delegates of the Jeollabukdo Office of Education Korea led by Senior Supervisor Yun-Rok Lee with Jin-Ho Choi, Hee-Jeong Kim, Sang-Ho Song, Hye-Lim Jeon and Dong-Gyun Han were warmly received by representatives of the Provincial Government of Cavite through the Provincial Information and Communications Technology Office and the Department of Education-Cavite during their recent visit to the province.

In her welcome message, Schools Division Superintendent Ms. Cherrylou D. Repia said, “We are sincerely grateful to the continued support of the Jeollabukdo Office of Education for sustaining the partnership with the provincial government and DepEd-Cavite regarding information and communications technology trainings for teachers.”

The delegates visited the school-recipients of computers from Jeollabukdo Office of Education namely: Cavite Computer Center-Tanza Satellite Office, Flaviana Arayata Elementary School, Emilia Ambalada Poblete National High School in Silang and Gov. Ferrer Memorial National High School-Biclatan Annex in the City Gen. Trias.

During the farewell dinner, in honor of the delegates, the 2018 and 2019 ICT trainees expressed their gratitude for the learning opportunity they obtained in the ICT training in Korea through the partnership.

On the other hand, the Korean delegates assured the trainees that they will take into consideration the suggestions and recommendations raised by some trainees.

Since the partnership started in 2005, about 331 public elementary and secondary school teachers including some provincial government employees were beneficiaries of ICT training while bbout 2,000 computer sets were donated and distributed to 160 public elementary and secondary schools in the province.
