CAINTA, Rizal - Rizal Police Provincial Director Police Colonel Renato S Alba reported to Calabarzon Regional Director Police Brigadier General Vicente D Danao Jr the arrest of one (1) drug personality during buy-bust operation at Barangay San Andres, Cainta, Rizal.
PCOL Alba identified the suspect as Rene Canda Jr. y Managuit @Jhong, male, 25 years old, born on January 24, 1995 at Manila, married, college graduate and presently residing at Blk. 6 Lot 17. Kabisig Floodway, Brgy. San Andres, Cainta, Rizal.

Based on the report, at about 9:00 PM of February 20, 2020, a concerned citizen came to Cainta Municipal Police Station and reported about the alleged selling of illegal drugs (marijuana) at Block 1, Kabisig Floodway. Brgy San Andres, Cainta Rizal of a certain "@Jhong". That upon positive validation with the help of a confidential informant, personnel of Drug Enforcement Team of Cainta Municipal Police Station led by PLT Macario Ramos Jr. under the direct supervision of PMAJ Carlo C Caceres, Officer in-Charge conducted anti-illegal drug operation (buy bust) at the given address and resulted to the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of fourteen (14) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing dried leaves and
stalks and two (2) bricks of suspected marijuana with estimated weight of more or less 700 grams with estimated value of 350,000.00 pesos. Other recovered pieces of evidence were one (1) piece leather sling bag, one (1) unit Honda Click with MV File no. 1380-1012413, one (1) piece five hundred pesos (500.00) used as buy bust money and eight hundred pesos (800.00) suspected as drug money.
The arrested suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and brought to Cainta Municipal Police Station for proper investigation/ documentation, subsequently the seized and recovered pieces of evidence together with the arrested suspect were brought to Rizal Crime Laboratory Office, Taytay, Rizal for appropriate laboratory examinations.
