LUCENA CITY - Joint police teams yesterday arrested a suspected bigtime drug pusher and seized some P1,900,056. worth of shabu during a drug buy- bust at Doña Aurora Boulevard, Brgy. Gulang- Gulang, here.
In a report submitted to Calabarzon police director, Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao, Quezon police director Col. Audie Madrireo identified the collared suspect as Raymart Ramos, alias Imatt, 27, jobless and resident of Zaballero Subd. in the said village.
Madrideo said the drug bust was jointly carried out by operatives of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) under Lt. Col. Dennis de Leon and Lucena City police station under Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea. Albacea said Ramos is considered as a drug personality based on consistent Intelligence reports.
When arrested, Albacea said the suspect yielded seven plastic sachets containing 93.14 grams of shabu, twelve marked P1,000 bills and a digital weighing scale.
He said the accounting of seized evidence was witnessed by barangay officials and a media representative.
