Ang Aboitiz Group ay nag-donate ng humigit-kumulang na 5,400  rapid test kit sa pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Batangas para sa na ipamamahagi sa iba't ibang mga lungsod at munisipyo sa lalawigan. (Photo and caption by BHABY P. DE CASTRO-PIA BATANGAS)



BATANGAS CITY - Humigit-kumulang na 5,400 rapid test kit ay naibigay sa pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Batangas sa pamamagitan ng Project ARK (Antibody Rapid Test), isang inisyatibo ng Aboitiz Group at Opisina ng Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship na pinamumunuan ni Sec. Joey Concepcion.

Ayon kay Mr. Clifford Academia, AVP ng Industrial Business Unit, Lima Technology Center, Aboitiz Group, lahat sila ay nadala sa pinakitang tibay at lakas ng loob ng mga Batangueño at mabuting katangian ng mga ito.



“We have seen the Batangueno spirit thru our members in the Aboitiz Group. Despite challenges of starting from Taal eruption down to COVID-19 pandemic, they were still there and rendering services to the company. They serve as our backbone in supporting Batangas Province in the fight against COVID-19," sabi ni Academia.

Sinabi pa niya, "We will continuously work hand-in-hand with the local government units and all other stakeholders for the betterment of everyone.”



Sinabi ni Mr. Jaz Lito, kinatawan ni Dr. Mingita Padilla na bahagi ng ARK Project ay naniniwala sila sa public-private partnership (PPP) sa paggawa ng isang kapaki-pakinabang na mga bagay.

“Initially, project ARK covers Manila and this is the first time we went outside of Metro Manila. We are hoping this help could reach the vulnerable sectors and be successful on what we want to achieve," bigyang diin ni Lito.

Samantala, sinabi ni Fr. Si Levi Dimaunahan, Provincial Administrator, na kumakatawan kay Gobernador Mandanas, ay nagpahayag ng kanyang kasiyahan sa pagdadala ng nasabing proyekto sa Lalawigan ng Batangas.

“We are very thankful to the Aboitiz Group. They continue to help the Batanguenos in whatever form and ways they may have. We know this is not the first time they extended their helping hand to us. During the Taal Volcano eruption, they were also there to help our distressed kababayans and for that we are very grateful,” sabi pa ni Dimaunahan.

Ang nasabing test kit ay ibabahagi sa iba`t ibang bayan at lungsod ng lalawigan kabilang ang Sto. Tomas, Malvar, Tanauan, San Juan, Nasugbu, ang Provincial Capitol at Batangas Police Provincial Office.

Kabilang din sa proyekto ay ang pagsasanay ng LGU sa mga kit at paglipat ng data na nakatakda sa Hunyo 8, 2020 sa Provincial Health Office at pati na rin ang pagpapatupad ng ARK Project simula sa Hunyo 9, 2020. (may ulat sa PIA BATANGAS)
