LUCENA CITY - The Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Danilo E. Suarez, 3rd District Congw. Aleta Suarez, 2nd District Cong. David “Jay-Jay” Suarez and Alona Partylist Representative Anna Villaraza Suarez granted coordinated projects and programs in the Samahan ng mga Bisaya sa Dalahican (SABIDA) through the Provincial Agriculturist Office.

On 26 June 2020 SABIDA formally granted two Motor Boats and 10 jetmatic water pumps and carried out the installation of a fish aggregation device or (PAYAO) project for the organization. The PAYAO will act as marine resource habitat until it is fully grown before fishermen are able to catch it in due course.





The said activity was joined by CPO Ronell Carandang of the Philippine Coast Guard Southern Quezon, Mr. Nikko Bautista from the Lucena City Agriculture Office, Mr. Rogelio Traquna, the representative of the City of Lucena, Mr. Allan Castillo of the Provincial Fisheries Affair - BFAR Region 4-A, Executive Assistant III Roger Panganiban and Provincial Administrator and Agriculturist G. Obet Gajo.

In a message from Provincial Agriculturist/Administrator Roberto D. Gajo, as representative of Governor Suarez and First Lady, he shared that the Provincial Government is ready to support the SABIDA programs as well as the continuous and sustainable program from the Serbisyong Suarez.





Meanwhile, SABIDA President G. Florentino Mercolita is also grateful to his colleagues for the support they have received from the Provincial Government for giving them the opportunity to make a living and do what they can and what they know they can do. The City Government of Lucena has provided support through its City Agriculturist Office.

Today, the Provincial Government's programs and services are continuous despite our experience of COVID 19 pandemics.
