LGU Bacoor has amended EO 24 to expand the Zapote 1-P Critical Zone

Bacoor City, Cavite - The local government of Bacoor headed by Mayor Lani Revilla, has ordered the amendment and expansion of the localized lockdown of Barangay Zapote 1-Proper Critical Zone and the provision of positive COVID-19 patients in households effective from 12 noon on 11 July 2020 to 5 a.m. on 24 July 2020.

This was produced after the RT-PCR (Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction) test in that region, on July 9, 2020, resulting in a cluster of 19 confirmed cases in which 3 died and 16 were active cases, along with some suspicion symptoms and possible cases sensitive to their rapid antibody diagnosis.

In that order, the entire zapote 1-P CrZ now consists of more than 1,500 residences with boundaries moving to Rosal St., Northwest (NW), Aster Extension to the Northeast (NE). ), Campuput St., to the southwest (SW) and Camia St. to the southeast (SE), including the old Zapote marketplace and the Sampalukan area of 400 families.

The Order also states that the Zapote 1 Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT), in collaboration with the City Health Office (CHO) and the City Contact Tracing Team (CTT), will continue to carry out an inventory and monitor the affected households in this critical area, conduct a case search and investigate more household members with symptoms.

A Strict Stay at Home Order for all residents means that no one, including even the Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) would not be able to leave their homes with all the Quarantine ID Passes of the households within the region containing the suspension.

During the lock-down period , the local government will provide food packs to be distributed and rationed to all houses inside the containment zone, along with maintenance medicines to be purchased and/or delivered by Barangay Health Workers, who will have contact numbers for this reason. Most essential items can be scheduled for delivery.

In the meantime, transport vehicles would not be permitted inside the lockdown area even if they are used for personal purposes, but Barangay vehicles can be used by designated persons who go to the market or store to buy food and other items for and on behalf of the enclosed resident.

Disinfection of all areas visited by the confirmed cases shall be conducted within 24 - 48 hours by the City-ENRO.

Disinfection will be carried out within 24-48 hours by the City-ENRO in all areas visited by reported cases.

Also, home quarantining/home isolation separation in all suspected, probable, and confirmed cases is strictly not allowed and will be accepted at the Community Isolation Unit (CIU) or hospital depending on the City Health physical examination Officer, based on DOH protocols.

The City Social Welfare and Development Officers (CSWDO), and Emergency Operations Center have been tasked to implement logistics programs and inventory for the provision of assistance to Barangay LGU and Zapote 1-P CrZ residents most affected by the lock and imprisonment of the barangay.

All Barangay Officials, the Bacoor PNP, and other duly delegated local enforcers must carry out the enforcement of this order to ensure compliance with all detention regulations.
