ROSARIO, Cavite - For the past eight years, Raymond Malandras, 32, of Little Baguio, Brgy. Wawa 3, Rosario, Cavite, has been selling balut. He is married and currently, his wife is on dialysis for kidney disease. He has two children, one girl, and one boy.

Malandras, the balut vendor, is known for his kindness, which is why he has many customers who frequently wholesale his balot, penoy, quail, peanuts, and crackers. And one of them is his customer Mike Evander Presa, 30, a resident of Brgy. East 1 in this town and the manager of JDP Motorparts.

Malandras carefully travels around every corner of this town while riding his old bicycle. Presa understands the balut vendor's exhaustion, hardship, and sacrifice.

Since Father's Day is coming up next week, he spoke with his friend Renz Marlon Mateo, 32, an Isabela native and businessman.

And this is where the plan was formed to give the motorcycle to Malandras in exchange for his old bicycle. As a help to his dialysis wife, he was given financial assistance in the amount of 10k.

And it was at this point that the plan was hatched to give Malandras the motorcycle in exchange for his old bicycle. He received 10k pesos in financial assistance to assist his dialysis wife.

"Sana makatulong ang motor na yan sa kanyang paglalako ng balot at yang halagang 10k ay kahit papano ay makatulong sa kanyang asawang may sakit" Mateo message to Malandras.

"Maraming-maraming salamat talaga sa suki kong si Mike Evander at naging tulay siya upang matulungan ako ni Sir Renz Marlon. Malaking tulong po ito sa aming pamilya", Malandras said.
