3rd Quarter Meeting of the 4Ps Batangas Provincial Advisory Committee held

BATANGAS CITY - Eighteen members of the Batangas Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC) of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) attended the online 3rd Quarter Meeting held on August 24, 2021.

Members reported on their respective programs and accomplishments for 4Ps beneficiaries at the meeting chaired by the Office of the Provincial Administrator and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, represented by Ms. Rosemarie Recio and Ms. Florita Lachica, in accordance with the order.



Among those who reported were the Department of Education-Schools Division of Lipa City, which stated that they have a zero “drop-out” rate among students from 4Ps; and Schools Division of Tanauan City, which reported that there are children of Pantawid beneficiaries who have already graduated.

Distributed by the Batangas Provincial Government, under the directive of Gov. DoDo Mandanas, and through PSWDO, the honorarium to 2,691 4Ps parent leaders, valued at ₱ 1,600.00 each and with a total value of ₱ 4,305,600.00.



From the Provincial Cooperative Livelihood and Enterprise Development Office, 28 4Ps beneficiaries were awarded livelihood assistance, with a total amount of ₱ 117,000.00.

Under the leadership of the Provincial School Board, school buildings have been constructed in the Municipalities of Calaca and Bauan.



According to the Provincial Health Office, their health project continues, including providing Vitamin A capsules, deworming to children, use of therapeutic food to malnourished children and other nutrition activities.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region IV-A reported that 126 families have successfully lifted out of poverty and adjusted their lives, guided and monitored through the seven-year “Kilos Unlad” program.
