SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – 4A and DTI Laguna have entered into a Usufruct Agreement with the City Government of San Pablo for the use of a 6,500 square meter land for the development of the DTI 4A Regional Office and DTI Laguna Provincial Office.

In a ceremony held Wednesday, October 6 at the New Capitol Building, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Poblacion V-A, San Pablo City, Laguna, a Usufruct Agreement was formally signed by DTI 4-A Regional Director Marilou G. Quinco-Toledo and Honorable Loreto S. Amante, City Mayor of San Pablo.

The agreement seeks to strengthen the cooperation between the two parties in assisting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“We are very happy because the City of San Pablo will be the new home of DTI 4-A and DTI Laguna. The local government of San Pablo is one with DTI in helping our MSMEs especially during the pandemic. We want to help them recover by bringing our public service closer to them. May the said office be built as soon as possible for the benefit of our San Pableño MSMEs”, Mayor Amante said.

“We are very grateful for the support of Mayor Amante to DTI. Rest assured that we will continue to provide excellent DTI services to San Pablo constituents as we aim to realize the country’s goal of globally competitive and innovative industry and services sector that contribute to inclusive growth and employment generation”, Regional Director Toledo said.
