TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — The ceremonial handover of two new ambulances and the opening of additional medical rooms at the Noveleta MedCare Hospital in Barangay San Jose 1 was conducted by Noveleta town Mayor Dino Reyes-Chua and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Maria Hilda Bucu on September 28.

The two new L300 FB type ambulances will be committed to the Municipal Health Office's 'Doc to Doors' program, while six (6) new hospital rooms, each with an air conditioner, LCD TV, comfort rooms, oxygen tanks, and a nurses' station, have been added to the medical hospital.

The extra ambulances and additional rooms, according to Mayor Chua, will supplement the hospital's current medical capability, allowing it to serve more indigents infected with COViD-19.

Mayor Chua stated during the occasion that plans are in the works to create a Dialysis center on the third floor of the building to enhance the facility's medical offerings.

He also expressed gratitude to PNB and Asia Brewery management for giving 600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for the LGU's vaccination program.

Mayor Chua said that registration for inoculation of children aged 12 to 17 years in the community is currently available in anticipation of the vaccination's go-ahead.

Currently, the LGU's vaccination efforts have fully vaccinated 48 percent of the 70 percent target population belonging to the A1, A1.8, A1.9, A2, A3, A4, and A5, with 72 percent receiving the COViD-19 vaccine's first dose. (with reports from Bagong Noveleta/Dennis Abrina)
