ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - A total of P32,640 in suspected shabu was seized from two drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Antipolo City, Rizal.
The first suspect, John Nelson Magtibay, was arrested by police on Taktak Road in Brgy. la Paz.
According to the police report, he was found with six (6) sachets of suspected shabu, one (1) yellow transparent plastic case, one (1) 500-peso bill marked money, one (1) 500-peso bill recovered money, and one (1) Mio Aerox motor.
The confiscated 4.3 grams of shabu was estimated to be worth Php 29,240.00.
In another buy bust operation, Mercedita Prieto was arrested in Sitio Bakero, Brgy. Cupang. Two (2) sachets containing five (5) grams of suspected shabu estimated to be worth Php 3,400.00 were confiscated from him. He was also found in possession of one (1) coin purse and buy bust money of Php 200.00
Currently, the two suspects are facing charges as violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2003. (with reports from Jun-Andeng Ynares FB)
