BATANGAS CITY - Won Binibining Batangas City 2022 (virtual edition) Louell Angel Brinosa, a 22-year-old Marketing student at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) from barangay Alangilan.

She was one of 20 contestants who competed in the 31st year of the prestigious beauty pageant on January 15 at the Batangas Country Club (BCC).



She was also named Best in Modern Filipiniana and Best in Swimsuit.

She was crowned by Bb Batangas City 2019 Jeanette Reyes.



Brinosa received a P 100,000 cash prize, bouquet, sash and trophy.

Pauleen Shane Dapul of barangay Kumintang Ibaba won the 1st runner-up and People’s Choice Award.



2nd runner-up was Karylle Micaela Romillo of barangay Gulod Labac, 3rd runner-up was Yssa Valerie Villamor of barangay Poblacion 12 and 4th runner-up was Celeste Cananua _of barangay Poblacion 10.

Cananua was also the winner as Best in Advocacy where she emphasized the importance of being a youth leader. She received P25,000 to be used in his advocacy.

Some of the special awards awarded were the Best in Creative Wear won by Alexandra Margaret Ibanez of barangay Pinamucan Proper.

Tisha Joie Mercado of barangay Concepcion won the Photographer’s Choice award, Best in Long Gown and Ms Batangas Country Club (BCC). She received P10,000 and will serve as the BCC Ambassador.

Eloisa Mae Dimaano of barangay Tinga Labac won Ms Friendship.

The dance number of Batangas City Government dancers and Likhang Sining Dance Company served as an intermission.

The Chairman of the Board of Judges is the famous Batangueño fashion designer Renee Salud who has been making clothes for the candidates for the past 31 years.

An audio-visual presentation was also presented as a tribute to former Mayor Eduardo B. Dimacuha and Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC) Vice-chairman Eduardo Borbon who have both been instrumental in the growth of arts and culture in the city and initiated Bb Lungsod ng Batangas.

Ms. Batangas City is under the supervision of the Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC).
