Cavite PNP arrested 123 individuals in daily anti-criminality operations


CAMP BGEN PANTALEON GARCIA, Imus City - Cavite Police arrested 123 individuals on its daily anti- criminality operations and recorded of 2,439 Quarantine violators over the last 24 hours.

In the campaign against illegal drugs, sixty-four (64) individuals were arrested in 37 buy-bust operations and seizing a total of 121 pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, 12 pieces of SHTPS containing dried leaves suspected as Marijuana, drug money and other drug paraphernalia.



In the campaign against wanted persons, thirty-four (34) persons were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest which includes four (4) Most Wanted Persons in CALABARZON (Regional Level) Ranked Nr. 4 for the crime of Statutory Rape; Ranked Nr. 9 for the crime of Rape; Ranked Nr 15 and Ranked Nr. 19 for the crime of Murder while another Most Wanted Person in Cavite (Provincial Level) was arrested for the crime of Rape in Bacoor City.

In the campaign against illegal gambling, twenty-three (23) individuals were arrested while playing illegal coins games “Cara y Cruz”, illegal card games “Tong-its” and Poker Games. Police confiscated cash money amounting to Php 4,170.00 in different denominations as bet money.



In other crime incidents, one (1) suspect was arrested for Violation of RA 10364 (Trafficking in Person) in GMA, Cavite; and another suspect was arrested involved in a road crash incident in Magallanes, Cavite.

A total of 2,439 Quarantine violators were recorded for not wearing facemasks, curfew hours, and not observing social distancing.



Cavite PNP assures the continuous operations against illegal drugs and all forms of criminality including the intensified campaigns on COMELEC GUN BAN during this election period.
