LUCENA CITY - The celebration of Fire Prevention Month takes place in the month of March, and this year's theme is "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog Hindi ka Nag-iisa." The celebration of Fire Prevention Month promotes safety awareness among the public throughout the year. A problem can be avoided by exercising greater caution, vigilance, sobriety, common sense, and respect for the law.

In this regard, the Lucena City Fire Station, under the supervision of City Fire Marshall CInsp Orlando Antonio, participated in the Simultaneous Nationwide Blowing of Horns as a signal of the said start of the celebration.



On the first day of the month, under the command of department personnel, loud horns and fire sirens blew around the station.

On the same day, they attended a kick-off ceremony led by Antonio in the Twin Rivers Park section in Lucena city led by the Provincial Government and the Bureau of Fire Protection Quezon through Provincial Fire Director Supt Rowena Hernandez. Gollod also includes the Tayabas City Fire Station.



Here, the Fire Department was reminded of its shared responsibility and that of the community in fire prevention and prevention through its theme ‘Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa!”

Still related to the celebration, according to Antonio from an interview with the program Pag-Usapan Natin Ni Arnel Avila, BFP Lucena will also hold its kick-off ceremony on March 3.



Meanwhile, Antonio assured that the Lucena City Fire Station will further intensify its dissemination of fire prevention tips and awareness in conjunction with the month -long celebration which aims to remind the public of the dangers posed by fire and how to prevent damage. it causes not only in homes but also in human life.
