BATANGAS CITY - Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha was recently sworn in for her third and final term as mayor of Batangas at the Batangas City Convention Center, where she presented her eight-point agenda.

Dimacuha was sworn in before 5th District Representative Marvey Marino, along with their three children, and was witnessed by several individuals and organizations.



Dimacuha outlined his eight-point agenda in his speech, which will serve as his administration's Development Framework for the years 2022-2025.

He stated that his administration's agenda during his first term was centered on Trust and Commitment (2016-2019), ensuring his competence and continuity of projects and programs promoted by his father, former Mayor Eddie B. Dimacuha.



It announced that the city of Batangas has twice achieved the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) during this period.

In his second term, Partnership and Change (2019-2022) became the center where the city government’s partnership initiatives with various organizations and organizations to further develop the city was strengthened and strengthened.



This is the season where Batangas City was presented as the Top 7 Most Competitive City in the country and 2020 Most Loveable City in the world.

For the year 2022 to 2025, Strengthening and Empowerment will be featured, which will promote the implementation of innovative and appropriate projects and programs that will benefit the Batanguenos.

The aforementioned eight-point agenda includes the following:

(1) Good Governance People-Centered participation which will strengthen the services of the Mayor’s Action Center and increase CSO Accreditation and the organization of the People’s Council;
(2) Enhance Social Security and Stability where eligible Senior citizens will have a monthly pension, EBD PWD Program, Strengthening Gender Equality and Moral Values ​​Enrichment and Expanded EBD Health Program as well as the EBD Scholarship and Youth Development Program;
(3) Expand Economic Opportunities and Productivity, including the establishment of the Office of the City Agriculturist, updating and adoption of the Local Investment and Incentive Code, Development of the City Comprehensive Tourism and Cultural Heritage Master Plan;
(4) Integrated EBD Housing Program implementation that includes updating or adoption of the City Local Shelter Plan; on-site or off-site Housing Program;
(5) Infrastructure/ Utilities Development and Acceleration, including the construction of Disaster Resilient Infrastructure/ Support Facilities, Water Accessibility and Sustainability, and the building of Disaster Resilient Social Infrastructures;
(6) Enhance Climate Change Adaptation/ Mitigation and Disaster Risk Management which includes the completion of the Batangas City Command Center Project, construction of the Department of City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, construction of the San Isidro Integrated Evacuation Complex, and expansion of Solar Energy project;
(7) Enhance Environmental Management and Protection, including Rehabilitation of Tinga Labad EBD Eco-park, rehabilitation of wetlands for a natural Waste Water/Septage Treatment Facility;
(8) EBD E-Governance City, including Database Management and Interconnectivity, Enhanced Local Financial Operation and Permitting Process, Computerized City Registry, and Health Teleconsultation Services.

Finally, Dimacuha extended his gratitude to all the citizens of the city who continue to believe and trust in his ability to lead. The mayor also became emotional as he remembered his bereaved father, who is now continuing his legacy.

He said there is nothing better than serving a town that was loved and was a part of his father's life, who many times also served the city, loved, respected, and helped by fellow Batanguenos to promote a more prosperous and prosperous town of Batangas.
