CAVITE CITY - The Department of Education's (DepEd) School-Based Immunization Program has recently begun in public schools.
The pediatric Covid-19 vaccination program began at Porta Vaga Elementary School in collaboration with the City Health Office, and students aged five to eleven were vaccinated.
It includes students from kindergarten to Grade 6 and parents and teachers from the school.
According to DepEd Cavite City, School-Based Immunization aims to vaccinate more children against Covid-19 while schools open face-to-face classes.
