CALAMBA, Laguna - The Laguna Provincial Government, led by Governor Ramil Hernandez, and the Provincial Health Office recently held a three-day Tobacco Control Program Year-end Meeting with the theme "Orientation on Basic Tobacco Control Program & Brief Tobacco Intervention Orientation & Health Promotion Strategic Framework on Smoke/Vape Free Community" at the Eurotel in Baguio City.



Members of the Tobacco Control Task Force of the provincial government attended.

The province's tobacco control and prevention situation, updates on the National Tobacco Control Strategy and the operationalization of the Laguna Tobacco Control Network, and the Provincial Ordinance were all discussed here, followed by a brief open forum.



Under these programs, the Tobacco Control Task Force believes that the time will come when this deadly vice can be stopped for the benefit of its victims and to eliminate the harmful threat to their health.
