BATANGAS CITY - In this world of pageantry where all kinds and types of beauty and grace are inevitable, holistic preparedness, according to one of the Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas 2023 candidates, is the key to a crown.

Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas is one of the highlights of the city's festival to showcase the total beauty and holistic personality of the Batangueña.

On January 5, twenty new Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas 2023 contestants were formally presented to the public during a motorcade within the población and press conference at the Teachers Conference Center in Batangas City.

The event allows pageant observers and local media to get to know the beauty contestants better and get a glimpse of their catwalk skills, stage presence, and overall impact.

The 20 delegates from various towns in the province of Batangas put on a spectacular display of modesty and intellect by confidently answering questions such as what they can do about problems faced by young people such as teenage pregnancy and the benefits of being a millennial.

The candidates praised Mayor Beverley Dimacuha for her contributions to the community. If they are given the opportunity to speak with the mayor, they will discuss issues such as mental health, digital literacy, and youth empowerment.

The aforementioned competition is more than just a beauty and brains competition; the events are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and inspiring the lives of many.

The goal is to look for these talents throughout the city and provide them with scholarships.

Some of the winner's advocacy will include promoting responsible social media use, anti-bullying, and more enrichment of art and culture.

The Coronation Night will be held on January 15 at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum, with famous television and movie stars appearing and performing.

On January 6, the girls performed in the People's Quadrangle Talent Show.

Prior to that, the contestants will compete in another preliminary competition.

Activities for the Batangas City Fiesta 2023 celebrations with the theme "Masaya ang Sama-samang Nagkakaisa" are also underway.

The popular Battle of the Bands will take place in the People's Quadrangle at 7:00 p.m. on January 8.
From January 11 to 14, various performances can be seen at the Amphi Theater of Plaza Mabini at 6 p.m.

For job seekers of people of Batangas a "Handog ni Mayor: Trabaho" will be held at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum on January 21.

Everyone is invited to participate in the activities organized by the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Batangas City Government, led by Mayor Beverley A. Dimacuha.

In this regard, a meeting was held and attended by the offices of the city government concerned and government agencies to ensure the peace and order of the said festival activities, as well as the safety of those who will participate in them.

PLT. COL. Dwight Fonte Jr., OIC of the Batangas City Police Station, led the Incident Management Team (IMT).

The PNP, PCG, PRC, CDRRMO, BFP, CHO, DSS, TDRO, and PIO comprise the IMT.

Col Fonte also declared that the Christmas and New Year celebrations in the city were "generally peaceful".

He stated that no one was reported to have fired a gun or been hit by stray bullets, and that no fire cracker-related incidents, or other untoward incidents occurred.
