TAYABAS CITY, Quezon - The giving season has arrived early for many in Tayabas City as the local government of Tayabas City has commenced the distribution of its "Pa-Bertdey" financial benefit, a key initiative providing financial assistance to thousands of senior citizens, solo parents, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) on their birthday month on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with a large-scale payout operation.

The first two days of the payout were marked by a systematic and organized distribution to beneficiaries from various barangays. The initiative not only serves those celebrating their birthdays in September but also prioritizes residents who celebrated their birthdays from January to August but had not yet received the benefit, ensuring no one is left behind.

On the first day of the payout, a total of ₱826,000 was distributed to beneficiaries in 17 barangays, including Camaysa, Dapdap, Ibas, Lalo, and the Alsam, Palale, and Ilasan clusters. On the second day, an additional ₱1,440,600 was handed out to residents in 18 other barangays, such as Alitao, Baguio, Ipilan, and clusters like Nangka and Bukal.. The total funds distributed over the two days reached an impressive ₱2,266,600.

The payout events were graced by the presence of Mayor Anthony "Piwa" Lim, who personally visited several locations to greet and interact with the elderly, solo parents, and PWDs, sharing kind words and smiles. The Mayor's presence underscored the administration's personal commitment to the welfare of its residents. Furthermore, the distribution on the second day was also supported by the attendance of Councilors Jerry Talaga and Ana Obispo, highlighting a unified effort by the city leadership to ensure the program's success.

The payout is scheduled to conclude on Friday, September 19, 2025, with different barangay clusters set to receive their benefits, completing the initial phase of the distribution. This ongoing financial aid program is a testament to the Tayabas City local government's proactive approach to providing tangible support and care for its most vulnerable residents.
