ALABAT, Quezon — Municipal services in Alabat are reaching residents door to door through Alay AYS Serbisyo, a town-wide outreach program led by Mayor Eizelle "AYS" M. Avellano-Canimo that brings assistance, health support, and personal conversation into local homes.
Under the program, the mayor personally leads house-to-house visits to check household conditions, listen to concerns, and provide basic assistance. Each visit offers a chance to see daily realities up close and respond based on what families actually need.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Avellano-Canimo shared that Alay AYS Serbisyo is built on personal connection and empathy in public service. She noted that simple assistance, when given with presence and care, can reach families who rarely visit municipal offices.
The launch of Alay AYS Serbisyo shows a more hands-on way of governing, where service begins inside homes rather than across office counters. Regular visits help keep communication open and ensure that concerns are followed through.
Alay AYS Serbisyo is a municipal program that combines food assistance, basic medical support, and direct community dialogue. Mayor Avellano-Canimo has committed to personally visiting communities as the program continues toward full coverage of all barangays.
The outreach will continue in phases in the coming days to reach households across the municipality and listen to community concerns firsthand. Each visit also carries small, unexpected gestures from the mayor, adding a personal touch that many residents do not anticipate.
