GUINAYANGAN, Quezon - In a clear show of sustained enforcement, municipal authorities in Guinayangan carried out the public destruction of confiscated open pipe mufflers. To strengthen the town’s sustained campaign against noise pollution, the activity visibly underscored the municipality’s firm enforcement of rules on excessive noise.

Mayor Cesar Isaac III led the operation in coordination with the Guinayangan Municipal Police Station under the leadership of Julio Dogta. Enforcement personnel used a road roller to crush the seized mufflers, preventing any possibility of reuse.



Authorities continue enforcement operations as part of regular traffic enforcement and public safety measures across the municipality. The campaign applies noise regulations consistently to preserve order and protect community welfare.

Barangay officials received directives to impound motorcycles equipped with open pipe mufflers within their respective jurisdictions. Enforcement teams will use a noise-measuring device personally acquired by the police chief to check exhaust sound levels during inspections.
