PAGBILAO, Quezon — Municipal Mayor Angelica 'Ate Gigi' Portes recently served as commencement speaker at the graduation of Pagbilao National High School for its senior high school completers. She said the milestone reflects both individual effort and the support systems that enabled students to finish their studies.

According to the mayor, the local government of Pagbilao continues to implement its Educational Assistance Program as part of its support for students. The program provides financial assistance and includes the distribution of educational aid to beneficiaries.

Building on these efforts, the local government is expanding student support programs and strengthening links between schooling and employment opportunities. The approach is aimed at ensuring graduates move beyond completion and into sustained pathways for advancement.

In her address, Mayor Portes linked student experiences to broader education support systems. She said continued investment in education remains necessary to help learners complete their studies and transition into future opportunities.

Mayor Portes also emphasized the role of sustained support systems in ensuring students complete their education. She said both government initiatives and family support contribute to student success.

Local efforts now focus on expanding education support and strengthening pathways from school to employment and higher learning. The goal is to ensure graduates move directly from completion into concrete opportunities for advancement.
