TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite (PIA) -- The municipal Government of Amadeo in partnership with the Philippines Baptist Medical Mission Center, and The First Uniting Christian International Ministries, Inc., with 16 Korean delegates conducted a free dental mission in this municipality.
Out of 700 registered Amadeans, a total of 524 successfully availed of the services.
The Korean delegates comprised of three (3) dentists, two (2) dental techs, nine (9) nurses, and volunteers, were welcomed by Mr. John Roque G. Ambagan, Executive Assistant Office of the Municipal Mayor.
Dr. Kim Yong Cheol, Dr. Son Sang Jun, Dr. Lee Kyung Chae, together with their coordinator Cho Dong Won led the dental mission as part of their 8th 2016 Philippines Dental Service.
The program was not only about promoting and taking good oral health, but also enlightening everyone to open their hearts towards faith in God with deep spiritual counselling provided by Pastors Eldin, Vicky, and Bro. Robert provided deep spiritual counseling.
The Amadeo Rural Health Unit, led by Dr. Melinda A. Villanueva, Municipal Health Officer, assisted the patients during registration, vital signs examination, and consultation. Philippines Baptist Medical Mission Center’s Pastor Lee Yong Jin, together with his staff, also joined the activity.
Mr. Gaudioso R. Bayot, represented Mayor Ambagan as he expressed the town’s sincere gratitude to the Korean delegates at the end of the two day mission. (Ruel Francisco, PIA-Cavite/with reports from Amadeo PIO)
