TRECE MARTIRES CITY (PIA) -- The provincial government thru the Provincial Governor-Extension Office conducted another medical and dental mission at the Alfonso Central School in line with the celebration of the town’s foundation day.
The mission which was held last December 8, 2016 benefitted 300 locals from Alfonso who availed of free dental and medical consultations.
Alfonso town mayor Hon. Virgilio Varias welcomed the guests and volunteers comprised of doctors, dentists, nurses and other staff from the Department of Health, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, the CarSiGMA District Hospital, the Office of the Provincial Governor, Cavite Office of Public Safety, Provincial Administrator’s Office and the Provincial Information and Community Affairs Department.
The beneficiaries of the free healthcare services were given free medicines and vitamins; others were treated inside the DOH dental bus for prophylaxis.
