TRECE MARTIRES CITY (PIA) -- The collective efforts of the head librarians of the cities and municipalities of Cavite paved the way for the Public Librarians Quarterly Meeting held recently at the Amadeo Municipal Library.
The activity aimed to create different programs that would further boost the public's enthusiasm and hunger for reading through the use of public libraries.
Projects and programs including the Starbook: First Digital Science Library, Tech4ED, National Book Celebration which are usually held at the National Library and the monthly reporting were recently revealed and discussed during the meeting.
In line with this, Amadeo Junior Librarian Ms. Cecilia B. Belardo, warmly welcomed the eleven delegates coming from neighboring cities and municipalities.
Participants of the meeting consisted of Ms. Khey Ann Paulino and Ms. Olive L. Escuvel from Tanza, Ms. Marilou C. Villanueva from Naic, Ms. Marissa S. Dimaranan from General Trias, Ms. Maria Dolores Mojica from Mendez and Ms. Loida A. Aguilar from Maragondon. (GG/Ruel Francisco, PIA-Cavite/with reports from Amadeo PIO)
