Three fishing boats, two small scale commercial and one municipal, were apprehended by the BFAR 4A Quick Response Team (QRT) during a seaborne operation in the municipal waters of Navotas and Cavite City last April 7, 2017.
Commercial fishing boats, FBca Lucia and FBca Queen Alaiza and municipal fishing boat FBca King JayR were apprehended in the municipal waters of Cavite City and Navotas City, respectively for violations of Section 86-Unauthorized Fishing;  Section 113- Commercial Fishing Vessel Operators Employing Unlicensed Fisherfolk; and Section 95-  Use of Active Gear in Municipal Waters of the Republic Act 8550 or The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998 as amended by RA 10654 or An Act to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unauthorized and Unregulated Fishing (IUUF).
