A single mother, a widow, married, all are just the same. Not just “na-ano lang” but all are mother-like figures who care and nurture, just like all mothers do. They became a mom because they fell in love with someone who returns their affection not “NA-ANO LANG”.

Mother, Nanay, Mama, Mommy, Mader, Mudra, Ermat, Mother or whatever you wanna call them, it’s still a mother who gave birth to a child, a Mother who carried you inside of her womb for nine whole months. Who raises her kid with a lot of care, affection, and love and yet if needed she could be the most powerful protector shielding her child from any danger also. Mother loves and sacrifices for her kids without any expectation whereas in other relations there is some kind expectation. Most mothers would sacrifice their own life for the life of their child.

Mother is great regardless of what was happening in her life, her status - wealthy, poor, educated or uneducated, she was always, and always be there for us, to love, to cherish, and to listen. A mother only goal was to raise her child to feel competent and confident and to help her develop a sense of passion and purpose. Being a mother is about encouraging and supporting your children in things they enjoy doing.

A mother is willing to sacrifice her life and She was also ready to fight for her children which most child just don’t understand. Certainly, there are situations where mother’s intervention in the ailing child’s life is clearly needed but for the child it’s unnecessary.I’m all for parents watching out for their children, offering guidance, intervening if a situation turns abusive or dangerous -- especially for teens just starting to date. If the mother or parents are micromanaging their every move, picking the suitor, enforcing tons of questionable rules etc. that’s a different story.

Sometimes being a mother means simply being tired, physically, emotionally, and mentally drained. It is good and right, but it is exhausting. As most mothers know, taking care of a child and his or her many, many needs can be physically exhausting. Studies have shown that when mother are fatigued, this can affect their overall well-being, as well as their ability to respond to their children with sensitivity and confidence. Because of all the work and exhaustion that accompany motherhood, it can bring a rise in depression as much as a boost in happiness also.

Children should take a while to understand their mothers and all the ways they can interact. Mother only wants the best for her children. They definitely want their children to succeed in life and do a little bit better than she did. They definitely do not want any of her children to miss out opportunities that she did not get to experience.

The love of a Mother is like no other. It is the closest human relationship to how God loves creation and all of her children. A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. Mother’s love for her children is undeniably unconditional so love your mother no matter what you go through. Regardless your relationship with your mother she’ll always be there for you.

My relationship with my mother is quite as good as it could be. She’s my best friend. She is my pillar of strength. Now my father has gone it never become difficult to deal with because I have a mother like my mother, a warrior. My mother is always spreading good vibes at home. Most challenging family scenarios handled without too much drama or scripts because of my mother. My mother has always been a problem solver.

There is a Tv Commercial about a mother and a daughter relationship from Smart Telecommunication. In the opening scene of Smart Telecommunication’s promotional commercial for Mother’s day, a mother was texting her daughter who’s at work... Then in the next scene, the daughter skype called her mother explains that she’s sorry not to text her after work and they talk and talk...

Sometimes we are so busy that we even thought interactions with our mother is a distraction. After I watch the Smart Telecommunication’s Tv Commercial a recent conversation with a dear friend I decided to try and remove the word ‘busy’ from my vocabulary and from my life. There will be ups and downs in any mother and child relationship. But always remember that relationship can grow and their bond can get stronger. After all, mothers usually know best.

Yes, relationship with your mother changes as you age. What matters is that your bond can tolerate this; that you can argue, makeup and still love. When you’re an adult, you and your mother can both be more open about what’s going on in your lives: You don’t need to worry about shocking her sensibilities, and she doesn’t feel the need to shield you from reality. You can both be more honest about who you are and how you feel.

Honor and love your Mother every day, not just on Mother’s day. Yes, Mother’s Day is a day for celebrating motherhood and thanking your mother for all she has done for you but is just one day in the year of honoring your mother ever enough? No of course.
