LUCENA CITY - The Provincial Government of Quezon has formally gives assistance through Governor Danilo Suarez and 3rd District Representative Aleta Suarez, a P500,000 check for Samahan ng mg Bisaya sa Dalahican (SABIDA) in Barangay Dalahican in this city.
According to the Quezon Public Information Office (Quezon PIO), the funds provided by the provincial government will be used by SABIDA for livelihood projects, such as Construction of PAYAO, Bigasan livelihood showcase, Basura mo, Tapon Mo, Pera ko, Bigasan Showcase sa Purok 3B-Looban, Bigasan sa Purok 3B-LABASAN, Bigasan Showcase Wholesaler and May Pera sa Basura.
Meanwhile, Barangay Captain Roderick Macinas joined the activity and expressed his support for the SABIDA projects. Congw.Alet Suarez also hopes to raise the life of every Quezonian through the support provided by livelihood projects.
Governor Danilo Suarez said some assistance he wants to give to Barangay Dalahican includes two motorboats, a health coupon that in the future will be available to buy medicine in private pharmacists, fish cages that can be used even it is a waste of time and also the intention of the Governor to ensure food security in the province.
Today, the provincial government continues to provide assistance and resources to meet the needs of the people in the midst of the crisis due to the risk of COVID-19.
Distribution of Agricultural Equipments
According to the Quezon Public Information Office (Quezon PIO), the Provincial Government conducted the distribution of agricultural equipment to Barangay Talipan, Pagbilao in partnership with the Provincial Agriculture on Tuesday (June 9, 2020).
The two hand tractors, one tresher, two 5000 liters of drum and 100 pieces of guyabano seedlings were personally donated by its beneficiaries Dumacaa Farmers Irrigators Association, Ibabang Polo Farmers association, Organic Farmers Association in Pagbilao (OFAP), Samahan sa Industriya ng Cacao Pangkabuhayan or SICAP Pagbilao.
In a message, Governor Governor Danilo E. Suarez assured the farmers that next year there will be more farm equipment to be distributed by the Provincial Government.
While our Governor also believes that farmers contribute significantly to the food supply of our province and the whole region. He also wants to improve programs in the agricultural sector.
Meanwhile, Governor Suarez visited the Quezon Product Center and Quezon Food and Herbal Processing Center which is also located in the town of Pagbilao.
