LUCENA CITY - In Governor Danilo Suarez's message, he shared some of the steps that the provincial government has taken and continues to take to meet the challenges that the province is facing. This includes giving Quezon province a facility test to speed up the outcomes of the swab tests as well as the Balik Probinsya – Bagong Pagasa Program, reopening of classes, and even real new opportunities for workers.
The Governor also confirms the presence of the rehabilitation and Recovery Plan headed by the Office of Planning, at the same time he also encouraged the Local Government Unit (LGUs) to develop its own strategy to be part of the rehabilitation and recovery of their constituents.
It is also ready to extend the support of the provincial government to the LGUs as long as it is certain on providing food to the people in their areas, it will also open up opportunities for them.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP SOLCOM) and the Quezon PNP have put together a program that will work for the whole Province to ensure "Kaayusan at Kapayapaan" despite the prevailing General Community Quarantine.
In the meantime, Governor Suarez also expressed his sincere appreciation for the workers in the Province, in particular to those in frontline workers who are responding to their day-to-day work or.
Meanwhile, Governor Danilo E. Suarez led the virtual and teleconference with the offices of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the Joint Provincial Development Council (PDC), the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Anti- Council of Drug Abuse (PADAC).
The 2nd Quarter Full Council Meeting of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management was first conducted via Zoom Teleconference led by Provincial Administrator Roberto D. Gajo and PDRRM Officer Dr. Melchor Avenilla with council members.
This was followed by a meeting with the PDC, PPOC and PADAC held at the Office of the Governor's Office while some parts of the group attended by zoom.
