You will never look down to the pieces of tattered clothes or Retaso the same way again. HA.MU is the name of the Fashion Designer/Stylist Duo you wouldn’t miss knowing from now on. Actually, they are already starting to be loud in the local scene. Styling Mimiyuuh, Gabby Padilla, Ylona, and more celebrities, with their Minimalist and Maximalist fusion inspired Fits.
The name behind ha.mu is from Abraham Guardian and Mamuro Oki, They created HA.MU to free out their monstrous character into something exciting to wear. Their vision is clear, it is to use madness of layers that creates a treatment of its own beautiful mess.
I was a silent fan of their work behind Instagram since I was in college, around 2017, those years their works screams at me, because I was shook on how people young as this Artist has a huge the capability of Vision and Talent and is living in the same country as me, Their is something new in how untied they are with their expression of being a rebel and they made it so easy, fun, and quirky to be so brave in Self-expression through Fashion. They go with the flow of the emerging movement of street wears that time, Careless whether they wear something vibrant or monotone or lucid, the totality is a representation of being openly adventurous in who they are and it’s a rare thing in our Country.
With their criteria of the right amount of too loud or too much everything just sits well, the wearable creature was born. Taking over the Matrix of endless texture, layers, prints, and colors that will eat you alive with its amusing sewed and patchwork. Not too overwhelming with its monstrous image because they made sure of choosing to balance it out with cute and tame colors, provided to fulfill the goal which is to have a spirited distinction.
The Amusing part is, it's like a ride that will create a never-ending addition of Fun loops. Making a very fluid take away, starting from wearable fits, and now they create a Face Mask using “Retaso” cloth, that also reaches an audience in Paris because of its eccentric look, again, building something iconic of its own.
Imagine what’s next in their line? Funny because the inspired look starts with something we are certain to know that is “just a rag” but we are wrong because with the right placement of sheers, curated prints and colors of the retaso cloth, it is a different perspective and life to the mind of a Free-spirited Fashion Artists like them.
