LUCENA CITY - The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) led the opening of a four-day training on contact tracing E-system held at the Quezon Convention Center (QCC) with the participation of participants from various PNP workers. Province-wide stations, including the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP Personnel), Disaster Risk Mitigation Management Offices Responders, Civil, and LGU employees.

On September 14, Quezon Governor Danilo E. Suarez attended as the guest of honor at the event along with the Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM), Director PBGen. Rhoderick Armamento, Deputy Chief, PLt. Col. Armelina Manalo, and the Criminal Investigation and Identification Department (CIDG-4A).



The purpose of this activity is to make contact tracing more efficient and faster for those who interact positively with COVID-19s, and this strategy is focused on the steps taken by Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City to oppose COVID-19, which became successful so as not to overpower the positive case of COVID-19 in their area.

John Bobbie M. Roca, Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit Head of the Department Of Health-CALABARZON discussed the importance of this type of training that is currently being performed for an ongoing pandemic in combination for his reminder on the existing health and safety procedure for to all.



While the message of the Acting Chief of the Center for Police Strategy Management CPSM-Quezon, PMaj Sheree Ann Smile Ubana, to those who will be doing contact tracing in our Province, as well as thanking the Provincial Government, he followed by sharing some information about the importance of this training that will be through zoom in the next few days.

In the meantime, expect the continued support of the Provincial Government for the Quezon PNP's activities and initiatives in the Province to resolve not only the prevention of crime or illegal activities but also the continuing battle against the COVID-19 virus.
