BATANGAS CITY - The vaccination of the first dose of Sinovac vaccine for 1,051 health professionals in public and private health facilities belonging to the A1 priority groups in the city that started on April 21, under the leadership of City Health Officer Dra Rosanna Barrion has ended on April 23.

Apart from CHO staff, the A1 group includes BHWs, BNS, BSPO, BHERTS as well as those in dental clinics, free standing clinics (medical & optical), front liners in schools, healthcare, CDRRMO, DILG, and CSWDO.



The vaccination held at the Batangas City Convention Center designated one of the COVID-19 vaccination sites in Batangas City.

According to Dr. Barrion said the vaccine is a big help to the CHO staff who face the challenge of pandemic every day.



He hopes that in the coming days, other vaccines will also arrive from the national government for senior citizens.

The vaccine recipient was divided into three batches from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon.
