ANGONO, Rizal - Angono MSWD wrote to DSWD-Region IV-A at the request of Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon and Mayor-Vice Gerry Calderon to offer food packs and other support to COVID-19 patients in Angono town.

Angono MSWD chief Ma'am Luisita Vestra and her colleagues received, received, and distributed them on May 21.



According to Mayor Jeri Mae's official Facebook account, there are 6 recoveries, 0 or no positive gains, and 60 current cases in Angono as of Friday, May 21, 2021. There were 2,104 infections in total, with 1,960 people recovering and 84 fatalities recorded.

Meanwhile, at SM Center Angono today, over 400 elderly persons with co-morbidities were vaccinated against COVID-19. This is according to the official Facebook page of the Municipality of Angono.



According to Mayor Jeri Mae, who thanked Gov. Nini Ynares for immediately fixing and allowing the DOH venue, the vaccine was held in SM to protect the elderly from becoming too hot and uncomfortable due to the weather.
