Angono police gives honor to individual and group volunteers

ANGONO, Rizal - Angono police, led by Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon and Mayor-Vice Gerry Calderon, presented a Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition to individuals and groups who contribute to the success of their projects and programs On July 12, 2021,. Acting police chief PLtCol Noel Andrade Campos spearheaded the event.

Among them were Emmanuel Choi de Guzman Natividad, brother of former councilor Ochick Natividad, and the groups Team Lansangan, BPATS, RACCERT, CSI -IG, Barangay Intelligence Group, Big Jay, Son and Nel Junkshop, and Mr. Marvin Munar.



"Sila ang mga naging katuwang ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Angono at ng Angono PNP sa pagbabantay ng bayan, paghuli sa masasamang loob at iba pang mga sitwasyong pang-emergency [They have been the partners of the Angono Municipal Government and the Angono PNP in guarding the town, arresting criminals and other emergency situations.]," Angono police said..

In particular, the honorees were very supportive of police activities such as BARANGAYanihan or community pantry, maintaining peace and order especially during the pandemic and COVID-19, crime prevention, Clean and Green project, police community relations, among others.



The award is part of the celebration of the 26th Anniversary of Police Community Relations Month, which will take place in July 2021 under the theme "Police and Citizens, BARANGAYanihan in the Challenge of Pandemia and Against Crime."

The Mayor, Jeri Mae Calderon, and the Mayor-Vice Mayor, Gerry Calderon, thanked the honorees for their enthusiasm for volunteerism, which is one of Angono's core programs.



"Binigyang pagkilala ng ating kapulisan ang mga volunteer groups na kanilang katuwang sa araw-araw na pagbantay sa seguridad ng ating bayan. Unang batch pa lang ito. Next Monday po uli. Salamat at Saludo po kami sa inyo! [Our police have recognized the volunteer groups who assist in the daily security of our town. This is just the first batch. Next Monday again.
