LUCENA CITY - One of the goals of the launch of the provincial multisectoral people's assembly by the office of Quezon Governor Danilo Suarez is to strengthen the various organizations in the province.

The Provincial Multi-Sectoral People's Assembly (ProMusPa) will address how to bring together all cooperatives, communities, and sectoral organizations that have been accredited and recognized by the local and national governments, the Philippine national police, and the Philippine armed forces.

It will also serve as a point of consultation, coordination, and convergence between community leaders and local and national government for the implementation of programs that will contribute to the development of an organization and the country.

According to Suarez, all they need is the assistance and support of each organization because what the government does will be determined by them.

So ang hingi ko po sa inyo ay kaunting panahon, this program has to be initiated hindi po itobukas andiyan na you have to make your move, you have to tell us what you need, because kayo po naman ang nakakaalam sa inyong community”. the governor added.

Suarez admitted that he did not meet the needs of the province's people right away because the majority of provincial council members refused to give him a budget.

Meanwhile, among the previous organizations that PROMUSPA and the Quezon Poverty Reduction Action Team will prioritize are farmers, fishermen, IPs, and those in the health sector.

Senior board member Donaldo Suarez stated that funding for the organizations' needs and programs will not be a problem because they collaborate with various national government agencies.

Suarez said.
