TANAY, Rizal - Those without vaccine cards will no longer be allowed to enter business establishments throughout the province of Rizal, according to an order signed by Gov. Nini Ynares, Nov. 9.
In Executive Order No. 26 series of 2021, the provincial government mandates all business owners allowed to operate to strictly enforce the “No Vaccine Card, No Entry” policy in their areas.
This is in line with the rules of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and is also said to be due to the "mababang bilang ng nagpapabakuna dahil bukod sa kulang o limitado ang vaccine, nagdadalawang isip din ang mga ayaw magpabakuna."
It also aims to reduce the prevalence of Covid-19, especially if its carrier is unvaccinated and asymptomatic.
"There is a compelling need to regulate the admission of all individuals in all operating business establishments within the Province of Rizal," said the governor.
Based on data from the Rizal Provincial Health Office on October 25, only about 3 out of every 10 Rizaleños who should be vaccinated are vaccinated. (with reports from Richard Gappi/Angono Rizal News Online)
