SAN ANDRES, Quezon - Due to the more popular attraction of San Andres town - the Island of Alibijaban - the rehabilitation, renovation, and expansion of the San Andres Port is currently underway in connection with the increasing number of visitors to the island as well as the town of San Andres.

Once the rehabilitation and expansion of the San Andres port in Quezon province is completed, Alibijaban island in San Andres town will be easier to access.

According to the town's local government, their priority in renovating the San Andres port is also due to the increasing number of vehicles passing through their town in conjunction with the operation of sea trips to San Pascual and Aroroy, Masbate.

Vehicle traffic will be eased later as it increases due to the doubling of the number of vehicles parked and passing through it as a result of the booming operation of the Starhorse and Kho Ferry traveling to San Pascual and Aroroy Masbate; and even the influx of tourist vehicles from the islands.

Even though the local Tourism Office in the town has some preparations in accordance with its special tourism programs, it is expected that it has changed a lot before the festival this coming May.

The San Andres Local Government, with the guidance of Mayor Atty Vanni Lim, continues to strive to provide honest and concrete public services that benefit the people.
