LUCENA CITY - To administer aid to areas impacted by super typhoon Karding, the Quezon provincial government has asked the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, and Philippine National Police for assistance in distributing aid supplies to typhoon-affected communities in Quezon.

Gov. Helen Tan of Quezon said she requested their help to expedite the distribution of relief supplies to those in remote locations, such as Jomalig.

Tan stated that she would also like to fly over the region and assess the harm inflicted by Karding.

The government promised to assist the people of the province of Quezon.

Repacking is being done with the emergency supplies.

Additionally, it stated that it was keeping track of the number of individuals brought to evacuation centers to estimate the appropriate number of relief supplies to send to a specific area.
