BACOOR CITY, Cavite - Filipinos once again witnessed the virtuosity and artistry of the Marching Band Capital of the Philippines - the town of Bacoor - after two years of virtual competitions because of the pandemic.

The Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC) also returns to Bacoor, where AMBC President Mr. Kosin Suebprasitwong and Secretary General Ms. Patricia Real Barairo formally introduced themselves to the new Mayor of Bacoor, Hon. Strike B. Revilla for a courtesy call.

AMBC has once again demonstrated its ability to provide a high-quality marching artistic judging system that Bacoor has relied on since 2017.

This competition coincides with Bacoor's Bakood Festival Civic Parade and Musiko 2022: The Grandest Marching Band Street Parade and Field Show Competition, which celebrated Bacoor's 351st founding anniversary in the Philippines on September 25, 2022.

Local marching bands competed along General Evangelista Road in Bacoor, Cavite.

The Holy Rosary Youth Band took first place in the street parade category, receiving P30,000 and a trophy; they also took first place in the field show category, receiving P50,000 and another trophy.

The band won four championships: Field Show (Drill), Street Parade, Drum Major, and Woodwinds.

As a gesture of gratitude to the Blessed Mother of Sto Rosario Reina de Caracol and the Great Creator, the band performed the incredible caracol.

Mayor Strike B. Revilla thanked the competition's participants and winners on his Facebook page.

"Maraming salamat po sa mga nag-abang at nakisaya sa ating parada sa kahabaan ng Gen. Evangelista Street kanina." Revilla said.
