TIAONG, Quezon – More than just a new supermarket, Puregold Tiaong Highway promises a wave of positive change for the community, officially opening today, marked by a solemn mass led by Rev. Fr. Edgar Allan Santayana. This highly anticipated opening promises to bring a new level of convenience and accessibility to the local community.
In his speech, Mayor Vincent RJ Mea expressed his optimism for the positive impact Puregold Tiaong Highway will have on the community, stating, "This opening marks a significant milestone for Tiaong. We are not just welcoming a new store; we are welcoming new opportunities for our people, new jobs, and a stronger local economy."
Mayor Mea further emphasized the local government's commitment to fostering such growth: "This investment is a testament to the growing potential of our town, and we are committed to supporting ventures that bring tangible benefits to our constituents."
Other local government officials also graced the event was joined members of the Sangguniang Bayan, including Councilors Maja Escueta, Rec Rec Baldeo, Rex Bautista, Alvin De Villa, Jonas Atienza, and Manong Castillo Jr., as well as SK Federation President Kenneth Obispo. Their collective presence underscored the strong backing of the local government for this new development.
Puregold executives were also in attendance, highlighting the company's commitment to the region. Among them were Marvin Francisco (Regional Manager), Mr. Edison Anggala (Vice President for Operations), and Lorenzo Co, a Puregold Executive.
Beyond providing accessible and affordable products, Puregold Tiaong Highway is anticipated to significantly drive local economic development in the area.
