TIAONG, Quezon – The local government of Tiaong, in partnership with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) office, executed a significant distribution of books and office supplies on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. This initiative aims to fortify early childhood education by providing essential resources for Day Care children and their Child Development Workers.

The official ceremony was attended by Mayor Vincent RJ Mea and Councilor Tom Ilao. Their presence underscored the administration's commitment to youth welfare and the enhancement of educational infrastructure across the municipality. The event was managed as a coordinated effort to ensure that all Day Care centers are properly equipped.

The distribution focused on materials designed to enhance foundational skills. Within the pages of the new books, the seeds of curiosity and a lifelong love for learning were planted for a new generation. Simultaneously, Child Development Workers received a range of office supplies critical for the effective administration of their daily educational and developmental programs.

Mayor Vincent RJ Mea issued a statement, articulating the long-term vision behind the program. "This initiative is a critical investment in the foundational years of our children's lives. By providing these resources, we are not only supporting their academic growth but also empowering our Child Development Workers to perform their vital roles more effectively. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that the youth of Tiaong are given every opportunity to succeed."

This program represents a tangible step in the municipality’s ongoing strategy to invest in its educational sector. The focus on both learning materials for children and operational resources for educators reflects a comprehensive approach to improving the educational environment. The collaboration among the Mayor's Office, the Sangguniang Bayan, and the MSWD demonstrates a unified approach to public service and community development.
