PITOGO, Quezon - Pacaen de Mayoboc Night Market, the first-ever night market in Pitogo, Quezon, launched with Hon. Mayor Dexter L. Sayat leading the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The launch creates a lively weekend destination that showcases local products, supports small businesses, and welcomes residents and visitors alike.
Municipal Tourism Office introduced the initiative to promote local industries, including handmade crafts, fresh produce, street food, and beverages. The program highlights the creativity and entrepreneurship of local residents, giving them a platform to reach both community members and visitors from nearby towns.
The night market was originally scheduled to open this weekend, but due to forecasted bad weather and to ensure the safety of all attendees, organizers have announced a temporary postponement. The new schedule for the Pacaen de Mayoboc Night Market is November 14–16, 2025 (Friday to Sunday), operating from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
“Through this night market, we hope to provide opportunities for our hardworking residents while giving everyone a space to enjoy local culture and products,” Mayor Sayat said. “We invite everyone to come, explore, and support the talents and products of our community.”
Municipal Tourism Office encourages residents and visitors to support local businesses, tourism, and Pitogo’s cultural heritage. The night market attracts visitors from nearby towns, boosts the local economy, and celebrates the town’s identity as a vibrant community hub.
