I woke up with the news about daughter slapped her mother with a slipper, their spat started because of sushi. Just two days before Mother’s Day I AM LITERALLY SHOOKT. Heart breaking!
Mu’awiyah ibn Jahima reported: Jahima came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, I intend to join the expedition and I seek your counsel.” The Prophet said, “Do you have a mother?” He said yes. The Prophet said, “Stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet.” Source: Sunan al-Nasā’ī 3104
A woman is a daughter, sister, and wife but above all, she plays the role of being a Mother.
Mother is most fascinating word on the earth. It is the most known and spoken word. There is nothing which can be put above her. She is near to God to the new born, as they totally depend on her. She is the example of selfless service on earth. She is doing an extraordinary service to the mankind without demanding anything for it. Every human being is burdened by her sacrifices.
None can take her place in this world. She is always with her child in all difficulties. She tries her best to save us from the difficulties of world. We are the part of her. She has fed us for nine month in her womb. She has given us her blood and shared with us her food. With out her help, we have never come to this world. Therefore she is doing the job same as God.
She sacrifices her life for this purpose. In return she does not want anything from us. Her child happiness is everything for her.
A day would never be enough to let her know how special she is but there’s no harm in celebrating a day where we could all tell our mothers that we owe our life to them. Although we deny listening to her advice most of the time, we know that a mother knows best. From our first word to our first friend, our first teeth to the first fall, our moms have been the most integral part of the journey. A mother would know when her child is in pain and when they are hungry, and there can be no better cure than sleeping in her lap.
I salute my mother and all these mothers on earth. They are the example of endless work of humanity. Without her we have never understood, what is love, sacrifice, compromise, and giving happiness to others.
Respect Mother and try to give her, as much happiness as she can. Because we will remember her great works, when she is not with us.
