Laguna Police Provincial Director PCOL ELEAZAR PEPITO MATTA reported to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE DUPA DANAO JR, the arrest of the rank #1 most wanted person at the Municipal Level of Minalabac in a joint manhunt operation on Saturday in Victoria, Laguna.
PCOL MATTA identified the accused as Ruel Bernal y Astillero a.k.a. Ruel Bernal y Esplana, 39 years old, male, Filipino, married, a farmer and is presently residing at Purok 3, Brgy. Banca-banca, Victoria, Laguna.
Victoria and Minalabac MPS personnel conducted this joint operation at 6:45 a.m. on February 22, 2020, at Purok 3, Brgy. Banca-banca, Victoria, Laguna.
This operation was conducted by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the offense Robbery/Hold-up with Criminal Case number RTC no. 2006-0675 issued by Hon. Maria Eden Huenda Altea, Judge of RTC 5th Judicial Region, Branch 61, Naga City in Camarines Sur dated December 18, 2006, with a recommended bail of one hundred thousand pesos (Php100, 000.00).
The arrested person was turned-over to Minalabac MPS for proper disposition.
