Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) has been extended up to May 15, 2020. The military takes centerstage. The President said if the New People's Army (NPA) continues to wreck havoc, he will declare Martial Law.

"Sinasabi ko na nga ba eh," Mang Juan blurted out.

US President Donald Trump said he has strong evidence that COVID-19 came from Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Eh di wow!

But Mr. President, can it be punished for creating and spreading the global pandemic? On May 15, 2020 it will be exactly two months of ECQ and lockdown (if it won't be extended again).

Those who are in the middle class, working hard to earn enough for the family needs before the lockdown - no work, no pay.

Mang Juan again blurted out," Di ga yaang poorest of the poor ay dapat noon pa nila tinulungan para makaahon sa kahirapan, may COVID-19 man o wala? Yan laang iyan. Ang galing nila magdrawing."

Kamusta raw ang buhay ng mga media people in the country side?

NGANGA. ZERO. WALA. NADA.

Business and editorial office have been closed. Printing establishments have been closed. Printing establishments have been locked. No work, no pay.

Sabi ng DOLE,"can't be accommodated, no more funds," kaya itinuturo na sa DOF.

Since the lockdown and the ECQ, walang raffle for publication, walang advertisements.

NADA. GUTOM? Maaaring may ilan na may naipon or naitago (particularly yaong may political connection or benefactor), pero karamihan lalo na ang mga "straight" ay NGANGA at TIIS-TIIS na lang.

Talagang ganyan ang life, sabi nga. May bukas pa naman. Matatapos din ang kalbaryo.

God help us.

Kalispera, thespines Eagle's Eye is watching.
