The first batch of delivery that arrived April 28 was distributed to clustered barangays including Solid Baybay, Solid Upland and half of Solid East.

Upon receipt of the donations, Mayor Beverley Dimacuha ordered the General Services Department headed by Joyce Cantre to distribute the dressed chickens to concerned barangays.

The next delivery is scheduled May 5 that would be distributed to clustered barangays of Solid North, Poblacion area and half of Solid East.

Few days ago, SMC has also donated 500 bags of flour to the city government to be used in making different kinds of bread for its frontliners.

This iniatitive of SMC will be a big help not only to the city government as well as the frontliners who were bravely facing this global pandemic despite restrictions, limitations and fear for their own safety. (BHABY P. DE CASTRO-PIA Batangas with reports from PIO Batangas City)
